As a reminder, all Girard Borough residents must obtain a sticker permit if you wish to take yard waste to the compost area.  The FREE sticker can be obtained from the borough office.  Once you receive the sticker, you must place it on the back of the mirror in the vehicle you use for transporting yard waste,  If you have any questions please call the borough office at 814-774-9683. The refuse area will be open to residents from 9:00 AM until 3:30pm Saturday and Sunday through mid-December.  The refuse area will accept leaves, shrubs and sticks.  No garbage, building materials or grass clippings are allowed.  No plastic bags allowed.
